Many books have been published on Mark Ryden before, but none like this large-format monograph, released in a boxed Collector’s Edition of 1,000 numbered copies, each signed by the artist; and also available in an Art Edition of only 50 copies, which come with an artwork.

On Wednesday, December 7th, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. PST, Porterhouse Fine Art Editions will be offering the following item: The "BLOOD Exhibition Book - 2nd Edition" features details, drawings, and paintings from Mark Ryden's 2003 "Blood" solo exhibition at Earl McGrath Gallery. The 110-page, hard bound book is larger than the previous edition and contains 16 additional pages. Each book comes with a foil stamped bookmark.

Art Basel Miami Beach 2011

Mark will have a new painting and a new drawing at Art Basel Miami Beach from December 1st through December 4th, at the Michael Kohn booth (Booth K10) and the Paul Kasmin booth (Booth B14). The Preview and Vernissage are on Wednesday, November 30th.

The special edition of the Snow Yak Show book features pieces from Mark Ryden's 2009 solo exhibition at the Tomio Koyama Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. Each signed and numbered special edition book comes in a handmade, two-piece box covered in fine book cloth. The edition also comes with a bookmark and a special 14-1/2" x 11" signed and numbered digital pigment ink print.

This very special portfolio of museum-quality, digital pigment ink prints features all eight paintings and two drawings from Mark Ryden's 2009 solo exhibition at the Tomio Koyama Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. The 10 images have been meticulously printed on the finest archival print paper, placed inside individual Kozo paper folders and presented in a finely handmade clam shell box. Each 13-7/8" x 10-7/8" print is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. Each portfolio comes with a full-color, embossed, signed and numbered title print and a letterpressed colophon.
